AUGUSTIN TEBOUL AW 14/15
French Odély Teboul and German Annelie Augustin forms the combination of love for craftsmanship and construction that creates AUGUSTIN TEBOUL, which can be described as on the edge of ready-to-wear and haute couture. The duo is well known for their unique textile designs, which uncovers the innumerable variations and nuances of the colour black. Finding the right combinations in the use of textile, colour and inspiration sources is where the duo find this true power.
The collection AW 14/15 by Augustin Teboul is named “Equinoxe” after the record out 1978 from Jean Michel Jarre. Every outfit is a reflection of their personal strengths; love for craftsmanship and construction, combined with the surrealistic inspiration. The use of many unlikely and unsuspected combinations which exist in different structure’s, form’s, textures and colours, is what makes the collection unique.
While the models are presenting the collection, the movement shows the special dynamic of the different elements that are combined in the looks. The use of velvet, leather, wool, silk and Swarovski elements creates a nostalgic view on futurism.
