For our Issue No. 02 I had the great chance to meet Ariel and have a quick chat about her hair. Especially for the holiday season we could use some tricks from the pros.
.
HEY ARIEL, HOW ARE YOU? YOU LOOK FANTASTIC TODAY WHICH ACTUALLY BRINGS US DIRECTLY TO THE POINT. I AM ONE OF YOUR BIG FANS, I LOVE YOUR LOOK, YOUR BODY AND THE WAY YOU SWIM. PLEASE TELL ME YOUR SECRET? HOW DO YOU MANAGE FLAWLESS BANGS, SERIOUSLY? AND YOU LIVE UNDER WATER?
I am splendid Christiane, thanks for asking. I have to admit I have a great team to visit me every morning and make me look beautiful. There is actually no big trick behind it but it is a a lot of work. You have to get used to this boring hair and makeup procedure with curlers etc. As a princess there is surely pressure of family placed upon you that your look be befitting of your rank, it is also the fans, the press and the tabloids demanding me to look beautiful, I am a brand and I love my audience, therefore I take responsibilty and try to deliver them what they want.
WOW, THIS SOUNDS VERY STRESSFUL BUT LETS PLEASE FOCUS ON YOUR HAIR, IT IS SO BRIGHT RED AND FULL OF SHINE. DO YOU USE ANY SPECIAL PRODUCTS?
Actually no, but I don‘t wash it every day, and once a week i get a special treatment. it is one of my moms old home remedies, a mixture of very rare, algae essence and of course a secret ingredient. But don‘t forget Christiane we mermaids have very distinctive hair texture, nothing compared to human hair. Our hair is covered with a let‘s say kind of a comprehensive wax, that‘s the real reason our hair does not behave as a human‘s would underwater and is so full of shine.
AH OK, I SEE! THANKS YOU SO MUCH ARIEL IT WAS VERY NICE TALKING TO YOU.
Thank you too Christiane and good luck with the magazine.
