Berlin based designer, Ina Beissner began to design and produce her first own jewelry line in 2010. Born in Lima – Peru, growing up in both Latin – America and Germany, her multicultural roots suffuse her work and art. The experience in the field she gained during various placements, amongst others at Proenza Schouler and the Spanish Vogue.
Ina is described as a designer who “has never been about simply creating pretty trinkets”. The new summer collection 2014 is a tribute to the golden Art Déco. It translates cubes and geometric shapes in a contemporary, minimalist collection. “Transposed from their silky origins into the world of high quality” as Ina would describe it. A clear signature and unmistakably for Ina are the bells as the key design element in this collection.
As I am not a big fan of flashy jewelry this is for me the perfect realization of my personal taste; elegant but feminine strong fundamentally design. The jewelry consist out of yellow-gold-plated sterling silver metals.
